Message-ID: <E1BMIhC-0007ec-00@surf.glug.org> (raw)
i recently saw a post on gnu-emacs-help asking about branches.
rather than post a reply, i instead made on the trunk (HEAD),
ttn-vms-21-2-stash, and ttn-vms-21-3-stash branches the file
admin/notes/BRANCH [1]
where branch-specific blurbs and other bits of info can be kept.
people maintaining other branches are invited to do the same for
the benefit of those who browse the cvs branches. (i would do
this, myself, but i am not familiar w/ the gist of branches aside
from those named above. however, if no one writes BRANCH for
their branch in the next two weeks or so, i will make an attempt.)
thi
[1] i did "cd admin ; mkdir notes ; cvs add notes" for
the ttn-* branches. the trunk already has that subdir.
