Please describe exactly what actions triggered the bug
and the precise symptoms of the bug:
When displaying 2 large (100K) buffers using C-x-3 and then resizing the
window, the buffer split was not in the middle of the emacs window. Using
the mouse to try and make the window small, then bigger, to see if the split
would re-center EMACS crashes. I was running this under Windows 2000 using
the NT precompiled version.
I had repeatedly reread the files in either buffer a number of times, and
the emacs session had been open for about 5 days.
