Please describe exactly what actions triggered the bug
and the precise symptoms of the bug:

I've just upgraded to XFree86 4.3, and after updating and rebuilding Emacs,
Emacs dumps core with a SIGSEGV.  Note that ``emacs -nw'' works fine.  Both X
and Emacs were built using their default configurations.
