Is there any way to save a live gdb session, so that a power outage does
not utterly destroy it?
I don't know of one. There is no easy way to recreate it as a live
session, but it should not be hard to add a GDB command to create a
core dump from it.
With the HURD it should not be too hard to save and recreate it as a
live session.
