Korean: It contains Chinese characters too. But, by default, it is unified with Unicode. (unify-charset 'korean-ksc5601 nil 'deunify) will cancel the unification. Indian: Glyph characters (i.e. what appear only in composition) are not in Unicode: I see. In that case, it is good that we support them separately, Vietnames: Simply because not yet worked on. Arabic: Simply because not yet worked on. So we can expect these to disappear as separate character sets in Emacs. Dave, is it now clear what to do?
