That would provide the ability to "import" any existing binding into customization. Perhaps the way to do it is that changing the value of the key sequence field, when the binding field is unspecified, substitutes in the current binding of that key sequence. Another alternative method is that display of the key sequence field could show its current global binding in parentheses.
