I get the impression that Ravenbrook/mps is working towards an updated release, but at the moment, I believe that you really want patches that aren't in release-1.118.0. Emacs itself needs:

#include <mps.h>
#in= clude <mpsavm.h>
#include <mpscamc.h>
#include "mpsc= ams.h"
#include <mpscawl.h>
#include <mpslib.h>

This is shorter than mps/code/mps*.h (which I s= uggested earlier).
