Hello,
in latest trunk, installing a package that depends on "eieio" 1.3
fails with an error stating that "Package `eieio-1.3' is unavailable".
However, "eieio" is available in version 1.4. Isn't package.el
supposed to accept higher versions?

If it's a problem for you, then it deserves a bug-report.
