Hi!
The first release candidate for what will be the 25.1 release of Emacs
(the extensible text editor) is available at
ftp://alpha.gnu.org/gnu/emacs/pretest/emacs-25.1-rc1.tar.xz
You can get the PGP signature at
ftp://alpha.gnu.org/gnu/emacs/pretest/emacs-25.1-rc1.tar.xz.sig
Please give it as much testing as you can.
As always, if you encounter problems building or using Emacs,
send a report to bug-gnu-emacs@gnu.org with full details
(if possible, use M-x report-emacs-bug).
Thanks for helping to test Emacs.
Nico

Compiled and tested on Fedora 24. Seems to have no problem.

Same under Ubuntu 15. I think that breaking third party packages
(i.e. wanderlust) was expected.

Not necessarily, no. IOW we do want to know about such breakage.

Sorry if I've missed this, but is there a Windows build of RC1 available?

I've been doing this, but I was away from my windows box at the time. I
will upload as soon as I can.

Thanks, but it might be a good idea to wait until RC2, which should be
available soon.

This topic is no longer relevant to emacs-announce.
When you want to use the "emacs-announce" topic, please consider using a
"Keywords:" header rather than putting it in "Subject:", so that replies
don't get automatically included in the topic. Because they are almost
never relevant AFAICS ("builds fine for me", etc).
TIA.

Just to be sure, you mean the added header should be:
Keywords: emacs-announce
Or should the value be just "announce"?
