Hi

I am a devoted user of Malayalam-itrans Input method in Emacs.

'Malayalam' is one of the native languages of India. It is an Abugida.
I wish to embark on extending the character set for those missing parts,
some of the consonants. Being a neophyte to coding emacs I wish to have get
some clues and help to get started on. Is it about Emacs-lisp coding?

Btw, the IBus system gives Malayalam-itrans, which works exactly as in
emacs. I mean, the missing consonants are same.
Do both IBus and Emacs use the same engine for Itrans?
