This lead to the following warnings:

  ELC      cedet/semantic/decorate/mode.elc
‘define-child-mode’ is an obsolete macro (as of 27.1); use
‘define-derived-mode’ instead.
  ELC      emacs-lisp/chart.elc
‘define-child-mode’ is an obsolete macro (as of 27.1); use
‘define-derived-mode’ instead.
