Just to point out that some other items obsoleted in 23.1 can't be removed until they are: * lisp/subr.el (redisplay-end-trigger-functions) * lisp/subr.el (window-redisplay-end-trigger) * lisp/subr.el (set-window-redisplay-end-trigger) These are defined in xdisp.c, window.c and maybe others from a cursory look.
