I can’t see any improvement with GNU Emacs 30.0.50 (build 1, x86_64-apple-darwin21.6.0, NS appkit-2113.65 Version 12.7.5 (Build 21H1222)) of 2024-06-17. Same behaviour on
21.6.0 Darwin Kernel Version 21.6.0: Wed Apr 24 06:02:02 PDT 2024; root:xnu-8020.240.18.708.4~1/RELEASE_X86_64 x86_64
