If you tell us the list of developers > we can see who we do or don't have papers from. I don't remember Kyle ever having touched it. Tim Peters was the original author of python-mode.el. Other than that, I know Ken, Skip, and myself have hacked on it. Grep'ing on the Subversion history, it looks like Ed Loper also checked stuff in. I'm sure there's history that predates the svn logs, but I can't think of who else touched the file. > If the rest of the > Python community is okay with moving python-mode.el out of the > Python > Subversion repository, I'd have no problem GPL'ing it and hosting > its > development on e.g. Launchpad. > > If we can get the necessary papers, let's put it in Emacs and > develop it there. Two problems with that: I'd really like to develop the code with Bazaar, and I want to make sure that we can still support XEmacs. - -Barry -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.8 (Darwin) iQCVAwUBR74CenEjvBPtnXfVAQINewQAloWhjaGGgOuYvwJH2JpQyxdimooOEl1j zDN0tKxZ9mEIu0xK9mtYRuYxCxZ7QNdUDmgdnEK1PUxTRiAU6ImsuEGpmIMIzv5k p7G6AoKCO2T17fdExgn4/hPGx8TrDgXvFo8M+N1MFrcvcPIC5STNOsbuema0zeUj 4PuR9Jp51u4= =oECH -----END PGP SIGNATURE-----
