The current interface, pre-ImageMagick patch, is that image-types says
which image types are supported (i.e., compiled in) by Emacs, and
image-type-available-p says which types are really available in the
running Emacs (of course for statically linked libraries these are
equivalent). The ImageMagick code should IMHO plug into the same
interface.
