Subject: solved: Highlighting with Emacs-cvs
Date: Tue, 22 Mar 2005 20:50:53 +0100	[thread overview]
Message-ID: <9epsxrzcgy.fsf@gowron.rz-berlin.mpg.de> (raw)
In-Reply-To: <v98y4fv9rb.fsf-WZbs9ZYJ0ya4nSHvGpykACzlmkwuQ7VwhC4ANOJQIlc@public.gmane.org> (Reiner Steib's message of "Tue, 22 Mar 2005 19:03:04 +0100")

Embarrassingly enough, my problem was a stale
,----
| (setq font-lock-keywords 't)
`----
in my .Emacs (which I was even to stupid to find using C-s). Taking
that line out resolved the problem; moreover don't I have any idea why
it was there in the first place. (I also don't see why it does make
any difference between 21.3 and 22, but then my elisp understanding is
quite low.)

Sorry for the hassle and a big thank you to everybody who helped!

yes.

yes.

Well, that argument is somewhat weakened by the font-lock-keywords
setting...

Looked quite normal to me, but I wouldn't even really know what to
look for in these describe-text buffers.

Cool! That *did* help.
