I mentioned in a previous email message that there is a bug in Emacs
23 involving key translation. To reproduce:

C-h k M-F

Result in Emacs 22:

M-f (translated from M-F) runs the command forward-word

In Emacs 23:

f (translated from M-F) runs the command self-insert-command

I think this behavior started happening sometime after Feb 1, but I
currently don't have time to narrow it down. Could someone work to
find out which checkin introduced this bug?

Thanks!
