           (dabbrev--find-expansion): use a progress reporter
           instead of dabbrev--scanning-message.
           (dabbrev--progress-reporter): new variable.

i would like to install this.  rms, is this (see below) suitable
for immediate ("tiny change") installation or should we ask for
copyright assignment?
