In my Emacs the background of the selection is close to black, so for typed text that=E2=80=99s fine, but it=E2=80=99s indeed sub-o= ptimal when selecting the red comment text. Perhaps the difference is because I set up a dark GTK theme (the toolbar has a dark background, for example). --=20 Ricardo
