Lest there be any misunderstanding, I appreciate the job you're doing as the Emacs maintainer, and the fact that you're trying to maintain a high level of quality for Emacs. But it's extremely frustrating to participate in a perpetual-motion-machine-like release process, with a leaky to non-existent feature-freeze, that never seems to get any closer to the actual release (or even the pretest!)
