Would you please tone down the enthusiasm? Remember we're talking
about the use of a proprietary operating system with spyware, DRM and
back doors.

Since Emacs is just an editor, not a god, it cannot do miracles. It
cannot make those problems of Windows disappear.

This is all correct. But notice also that there are users who /have/ to
use Windows. For them Emacs makes Windows sufferable. Windows without
Emacs would be beyond all bearing (by own experience).

We were not praising the OS. We were praising a person, a member of
the Free Software community, who went a long way to make Emacs
available to others.

A couple of things I noticed:

1. The packages (full and barebin) include the following dlls in
addition to the libXpm.dll, that was provided in previous packages:

giflib4.dll
jpeg62.dll
libtiff3.dll
xpm4.dll
zlib.dll

Is this correct?

2. The barebin package for 23.1.91 also included dump.bat, 23.1.94 does
not. However, as far as I can tell dump.bat only works with temacs.exe,
which is not included in either version of the package.
