My original intention was to implement such a documentation browser using Web UI in eww, but I already agreed that was a bad idea. However, I'm not sure about Info UI. The only thing that stops me from implementing this in Info is a doubt that the users of the standalone Info reader might expect the same virtual Info manuals be available for them. For example, with a dynamically generated Info manual with groups of functions and the addressing scheme such as (info "(shortdoc) regexp functions"), would the users of the standalone Info reader expect that visiting the same Info location should produce the same documentation to them in the standalone Info reader?
