What will make it hard, is rejecting complex new features on the basis that they are written by only one person. Which is a position inconsistent with all other recent development activity anyway: Bidi reordering and native compilation are two major features that have been written by one person alone, and for whom we have only one expert on board, while at least one other person in this thread has Android development experience. Richard, would you please look at the thread starting at <83v8fnslfz.fsf@gnu.org>, and make a final decision? I'm afraid that if the Android port isn't eventually installed, there will be a fork, and I don't have the energy to work on both the fork and Emacs at the same time. So it would be nice to know what to expect now.
