I have been trying this: (let (proc finished-sending) (unwind-protect (progn (setq proc (make-process :command '("cat") :name "testprocess")) (process-send-string proc "some large string") (process-send-eof proc) (setq finished-sending t) proc) (unless finished-sending (delete-process proc)))) This leaves me with running processes although the unwind forms have been executed - just because `finished-sending' is non-nil. So maybe the problem is something completely different? Just asking... Michael.
