But still, it > would be best to hear the reasons why you think this is a valid alias. Because it allows to get all the XTerm benefits (like extra keybindings, clipboard) in Eat. And if you don't know what's Eat, it's a terminal emulator package I wrote. I have "eat" aliased to "xterm" so a month or two in my init file, and it works fine on my Emacs. But, Stefan Monnier suggested that including term/eat.el in my package would also work. So I think I should try that first, since the people using Emacs in Eat would probably have Eat installed, am I right? =2D-=20 Akib Azmain Turja, GPG key: 70018CE5819F17A3BBA666AFE74F0EFA922AE7F5 Fediverse: akib@hostux.social Codeberg: akib emailselfdefense.fsf.org | "Nothing can be secure without encryption." --=-=-= Content-Type: application/pgp-signature; name="signature.asc" -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- iQIzBAEBCAAdFiEEyVTKmrtL6kNBe3FRVTX89U2IYWsFAmOHwJcACgkQVTX89U2I YWsgVg/5AXO5ofULAviehz9tjdmRpZuk+pkxODoWp2g1zKMZ/mxlH5H4rV7kRfKJ 9LGmHkqvS7+cx0NNjZvJ8eqFTu5/0svEipuGSPnY/J1PPjXhQdVdeLrKfomGgV04 DWXnIw1oiWeA6cfJ/5O2LtmNUajJHJBuuC3rt6uRJg1AZ9Sx/9tINDcRGGNgyFfJ vbL3bFtnATnSwY7kVrbYONY8AuxuqZ4DuFYLn4n9ydXGrYlg6jKCjCUbUQzPYSso pohOYE13cmThwQ2UmJp/Rn/iQBy8DqT8F9ZBbHj0lXv10lNIizewNIvzN9UAFFMn v1IwAR33QOHJ0zi8bXyB+caVgTMzaYAPwacKsYQ7J9ABuIAWFdUvlSRj0gOROpeX jMZG81CezpTx6xz4wx3S37oCeh/VcpvcvOvm6SJnTXVRyZMB80xdox4WT/RnCzY6 tfOdPOtZsZ2d4ThyU7yTu/JTYsABAXVzkbuiJk9umW9SPKcwB5uWbrUuxmTgEmYY gQMmB1b/cabuz2le9V2LE7JLQGnbEPD28hnUNH4EpkFGQJpFMgAca+5V4ENXPg93 PGArhLjZ4ocjV4CvY2h2y3/NszFikn0Uigvm4NFDNNCjeKsOfV89vXFUb6AYyQue Ya3Uj1onPfDWkuz814Yjk8vGG4/LJl3VJFzodO1/5d1vvZJylbs= =Jl+w -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- --=-=-=--
