But many WMs (I think kwin, too) trap M-TAB and probably many other bindings used by emacs. Fortunately most if not all WMs let users set their own shortcuts. Here all window manager shortcuts use the Windows (Hyper) key, so all C and M bindings are reserved for use in applications. So I would't care much about what WM uses a key by default. Bye, Tassilo
