In both traces, Tramp has read values from the cache. Example in
TRAMP-DEBUG-LOG5:
09:57:43.040036 tramp-get-connection-property (7) # remote-shell /bin/sh
OK, let's do it with a sledge-hammer approach:
- Close any Emacs session. It is important to do it first, because Tramp
saves its cache when Emacs exits.
- Remove ~/.emacs.d/tramp (this is the saved cache).
- Start "emacs -Q", and run your test.
