Yes that's true, sometimes it can be easy to forget what it's like to be an absolute beginner. > Of course the profile will be documented and hopefully the user will > learn the meaning of the decisions made in the profile. I think it's good to show the user what configuration is generated and to tell them where it's saved, but it should be easy for the to click "OK" on that and then just get on with using Emacs and not having to think about configuration again. That way those who just want to use Emacs will be able to do so and those who are more interested in what else it can do will have a starting point for further customisation. --=-=-= Content-Type: application/pgp-signature; name="signature.asc" -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- iQJIBAEBCAAyFiEEO/eF3hYsAMj7Tab9uhNZqCwLPvkFAmEzkeAUHHNpbW9uQHBv bGFyaXM2NC5uZXQACgkQuhNZqCwLPvlo6A//WeKVLMMfSKU/H9p5l+NlFYaNEmAF j6wP+Yrj7NixAPT+8QltZssT8qp11/VcgxcN96NJBrpzGBoGziNW3Xih/3wCk42h wnQOnXVx/wDJZKc0zAx3WE8TN13k7i1X3os5lZMht+CiKSG+h8x8ax7dMnYg6O3I tWYEgZKjqIK8egubmSKmYlfUiWJ2B/ynnN780Df+P3ldJJQ93ZV2t4RgozS/xVbT SvohFY4VacVI8Ux9Y5l+dVT9Avkbays9t8Ztz96cyvAmQAND4E+GvsCRi9DRC7YZ jGOCflARa0GO9vuU64wz/svjZz3LRihIh13A3ogVOKd8vsc+4yT0JNb7my/CLWyG kZc+nU+xOpBSyT7i0ngyfzbDQyuf9RirZ+rHwZzDg7QP3pItaKCvhNNquwEU+FXd lFCK8jGmd4Fj/zF4/epz1h/7wuNaA7im0cZDuSrwTY609JLbxZh34RHcaJeSwu0t ByAM0bG07lEJPpSeC0dPSzkpwicvuvh5XtP0XfTty9a2isDuBZWvjzz0eqZFjDfT odq3+v3QgF7gtn1hg2StAAihjzZ0uxX6V2vi2TNfNa+lzChXNTHIovzCTNIx09pQ 5kOv6B9XBn3I07cRSdt0Lu4x+sS3yMyd+t8yNEVrYCut+MRHSPYYPFsvtyz7udr3 fJr+uIP1et9eiVc= =8KAD -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- --=-=-=--
