After upgrading my emacs20 install at work to 21 via the debian package, I notices that I no longer could send mails in Gnus. After some digging, I found out why, and found that bugreport too: http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=116850&repeatmerged=yes Has this fifo behaviour already been fixed in HEAD or 21.2.80?
