What? I am a founding developer of Subversion. Its other founding developer is Jim Blandy, who worked for the Free Software Foundation and whose devotion to free software is well known to you, Richard. The people who develop Subversion are no more a monolithic group than the people who hack on GNU Emacs, and no more deserving of your slander. No, we don't make our developers sign certificates of pure-heartedness before we accept their code contributions, but then again neither does the FSF. I don't know where you got this idea you have about the Subversion team, but it's not right in the aggregate, and is dead wrong about me in particular. You're just carelessly slinging around accusations based on vague impressions; it's irresponsible and insulting. -Karl
