I think this only implements one of the four items in ther= e for Robert> emoji support, but they=CA=BCre all fairly orthogonal. Hi Eli, Now that I=CA=BCve looked at the patch again, I think I need some guidance. tr51 defines which codepoints have the 'Emoji' property, and which additionally have the 'Emoji_Presentation' property. The latter means they should in the absence of a variation selector be displayed as emoji. My current implementation assigns codepoints with the 'Emoji_Presentation' property to the 'emoji' script, since that=CA=BCs all we have to work with regarding font selection. But there are codepoints that don=CA=BCt have that property that *could* be displayed as emoji, so perhaps I should base it off the 'Emoji' property instead? (with a small exception for codepoints <=3D #xAE). (there=CA=BCs probably a similar question for 'Extended_Pictographic' that needs investigation) Robert --=20
