How did you install it? It's completely different from the > header file that libotf requires (attached at the tail). I installed it via paludis (Gentoo GNU/Linux). I recompiled it (no version change, still 0.9.8) and now /usr/include/otf.h is the same as yours. But looking at the old headers they state they're from some "Open Trace Format" library. I don't know how they got there. Seems some broken app I have to use at work had overwritten the original open type header... Thanks a lot for your assistance, emacs compiles again. Bye, Tassilo
