"M-x debbugs-gnu" worked for me yesterday. But today, on 2 different
machines, I get an error message:

Soap-wsdl-get(apachens:Map): cannot find namespace alias apachens

What does this mean, and how can I solve this?

TIA

`M-x debbugs-gnu' seems to work for me now. Perhaps a transient error?

Nope, still happens here.

I have a feeling I do something wrong. I copied debbugs from elpa and
soap-client into site-lisp, is that enough? And what's the purpose of
the Debbugs.wsdl file there?

I just put ~/src/emacs/elpa/packages/debbugs/ into my load-path, but the
recommended way is to use `M-x package-install RET debbugs-gnu RET', I
think?

I've never tried copying any of that stuff into site-lisp.

Problem solved by reading soap-client's Issue Tracker: it's a bug in
the latest version of soap-client. Using the version bundled with
Emacs (which I didn't know existed) makes all of this work.

The one time it worked for me I probably didn't load the development
version of soap-client, so Emacs used the bundled one.

Sorry for the noise.
