Sure, although off the top of my head I can't see a faster way to delete the temporary window than "C-x o C-x 0" (granted, that's not the most awkward sequence ever). As I said, I personally find C-u C-SPC enough for my purposes, but I can imagine other people liking the proposed behaviour better.
