I've mentioned several times yet that, for someone who was educated on Spanish, searching for n and finding =C3=B1 is no different than searching for v and finding w. There are similar cases on other languages. This looks like a strong a priori reason to me. My point was repeated ad nauseam. I'll stop arguing about this issue now.
