This actually raises a bigger question: Does it make sense to provide an alternative set of defaults for blind or visually impaired users? Unlike other cases when people ask for "modern" defaults, having a ready-set configuration for people with accessibility needs may be something too important to leave lying unattended. I guess that Emacsspeak already provides some good defaults for blind, thanks to T.V. Raman's continuous dedication. But maybe we want things to be available in vanilla Emacs as well?
