Sure! I'm working on combing debbugs this week, to get a clearer picture of
where 25.1 stands in relation to its release requirements (presently means:
"no release-blocking bugs"), but we also could use community feedback on look
and feel, new defaults, etc., so a pre-test now would be timely.

I'd prefer to wait until changes mentioned in NEWS but not yet
reflected in the manuals are all processed. IMO, it's not good to
release a pretest with incomplete documentation.
I hope to finish going through NEWS in a few days.

Ok, that's the threshold then, Nicolas. Once Eli gives us the all clear on the
documentation front, we'll cut a pre-release.
