    * New Modes and Packages in Emacs 22.1

    ** Rcirc is now part of the Emacs distribution.

    Rcirc is an Internet relay chat (IRC) client.  

    It supports simultaneous connections to multiple IRC servers.
    For each connection you can join several channels (many-to-many)
    and participate in private (one-to-one) chats.  Both channel and
    private chats are contained in separate buffers.

Do you think the package should be renamed from "rcirc" to simply
"irc"?
