I know plenty of people where this is not the case, who perhaps use Emacs only for Org, Magit or for some other mode. So perhaps questions like "Which editor did you use before you started using Emacs?", should be generalised to "Which editor do/did you use besides Emacs?", and a questions could be added to the effect of "How frequently do you use Emacs a week?", "Where does Emacs fall short?".
