I ran Emacs.app for a day under the debugger, using Gnus and other
tools, and it worked all right without crashes.  It may be a difference
between my command-line setup and starting it from the MacOS Finder.
I'll keep testing and write back if I find anything useful.

The part where "the error can't be logged or debugged" is the bigger
concern IMO.  Adrian, what needs to happen to have the Emacs.app bundle
(the one users will open) produce usable core files and log messages?
I'll help any way I can.
