Undo and Redo are very common in most text editor such as GVim, notepad++, etc. undo-redo (like undo) is a very used command today, i think that adding it can add a plus forward a more friendly Emacs (especially for newcomers or people that always uses mouse (like me)). Also i don't think that adding only 1 extra button can bloat the toolbar, on 800x600 there is not that much difference.
