Yes, unfortunately it didn't help.

I reported the issues to emacs-devel and the Emacs.app mailing list in
<m2y702mdfw.fsf@getconnected.com>
Adrian replied only to the Emacs.app mailing list with
<AE3F6761-560A-4113-A84F-BB2D5781BCCD@gmail.com> and the thread stayed
there. I can summarize here if it's necessary, although Adrian can
probably do a better job.
