Glenn, perhaps we should have some Make rules, either in lisp/ or in admin/unidata/, that would mention the uni-*.el files as targets. Right now, it looks like they are not missed, only charprop.el is. Perhaps now that we rely on GNU Make on trunk this would be easy to set up.
