Perhaps because in C such completion is trivially available, while C++ is a dying language. (On my daytime job, customers started frowning on projects implemented in C++ several years ago. They want Java, C#, Python, and Ruby instead. Newbie programmers we hire don't know C++ at all, and don't want to learn it, because they say it is not required on the market.)
