We have no practical way of ensuring people assume such responsibilities, let alone keep their promises in that regard. We all have our Real Lives. This isn't a theory, it happens here in enough cases to be a real-life scenario we should take into account. > If they don't want to do that, the test doesn't start. Meaning that the change doesn't get installed? That'd be a serious blow to development, which is unjustified. The frequency of problems such as the current one is very low; by contrast, people submitting a change that looks useful and then disappearing happens all the time.
