Subject: Omitting Windows-specific parts from infrastructure changes
Date: Fri, 16 Jan 2015 11:54:51 +0200 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <838uh32gpg.fsf@gnu.org> (raw)
When people make infrastructure and low-level changes all over the
source tree, I'd appreciate if they either include the MS-Windows
specific parts in the scope of the changes, or at least tell here
explicitly that this-and-that parts were omitted for such-and-such
reasons. Several changes installed lately did neither, which leaves
those left-out places to be discovered either by chance or by bug
reports. That mode of operation makes very little sense to me.
Thanks in advance.
