Can you fix the bug? No, it is the text entry box in the file dialog that is read only, i.e. when the dialog pops up to open an existing file, you can not enter the file name in the text entry box, because that would make it possible to enter a file name for a file that does not exist. The buffer has the correct read/write state. Jan D.
