I'd suggest giving it another try. The GUI is a little akward to get used to, but ediif is really too good to reject simply because of that. I couldn't live without it; on the projects I work on I often have to install bug fixes on several release brances, and ediff makes that quite easy! -- Kim F. Storm http://www.cua.dk
