The friction to contribute to Ema= cs is pretty high, and one hurdle is the assignments. (Actually, it turns ou= t assignment was only one hurdle out of many, which makes me have a few patc= hes that I just apply when I compile emacs myself. I=E2=80=99m pretty sure a= lot of people will be doing that.=20=
