If it doesn't, what is the problem that prevents that? >=20 _configure.bat_ --no-cygwin exists, but because I don't use configure.bat= , I didn't notice it. I'm building Emacs using the usual autoconf machinery a= nd bash. I'd like to make it possible to cross-compile an NT-native Emacs in= the Cygwin environment using the autoconf machinery. By the way: -mno-cygwin hasn't worked for a few years now. The Cygwin peo= ple now recommend using a real cross-compiler to compile for MinGW --- e.g., i686-w64-mingw32-gcc. If I had my way, we'd drop configure.bat entirely and always build NT-nat= ive Emacs by cross-compiling from Cygwin. --------------enig0D3D63FF6D0F5A157F20955A Content-Type: application/pgp-signature; name="signature.asc" Content-Description: OpenPGP digital signature Content-Disposition: attachment; filename="signature.asc" -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.12 (Cygwin) Comment: Using GnuPG with Mozilla - http://enigmail.mozdev.org/ iEYEARECAAYFAlAhd2IACgkQ17c2LVA10VsDLQCfbgUH8AHQHoNA1fOs2rf2PTfy qr8AoJ8g4lgXRU0DaN83DjGY+u3T6UYJ =DamS -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- --------------enig0D3D63FF6D0F5A157F20955A--
